With over 17 years of experience in the healthcare field, she has cultivated a deep understanding of the intricacies of patient care and the importance of delivering compassionate, evidence-based care. Her medical journey began in 2006 as a skilled Phlebotomist and Patient Care Specialist. She became a Licensed Practical Nurse in 2012, a Registered Nurse in 2017, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2021. In 2024, she proudly achieved her goal of becoming a certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), further expanding her ability to provide high-quality primary and preventive care to patients across the lifespan. She is currently pursuing a post-master's specialization in Psychiatric
Mental Health to deepen her expertise in behavioral health and support patients’ mental well-being. Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Santiago de Cuba College of Medical Sciences and went on to complete a residency in Pediatrics at the Pediatric Hospital Hermanos Cordovés; in Cuba.Dr. Villa further honed his expertise through a fellowship in Pediatric Intensive Care at the Pediatric Hospital Octavio de la Concepción y de la Pedraja" in Holguín, Cuba. In pursuit of excellence, he continued his medical journey as a Physician Intern and completed a residency in Family Practice at Bella Vista Hospital in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. With more than 25 years of medical experience, Dr. Yanez offers a patient-centered approach grounded in clinical excellence, cultural sensitivity, and a deep understanding of complex chronic conditions. He began his medical career in Havana, Cuba, where he worked as a general surgeon.After relocating to the United States, he completed his Internal Medicine residency at New York Medical College – Metropolitan Hospital Center, where he earned multiple recognitions for professionalism and clinical performance. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and has been practicing primary care in Florida since 2014, currently serving at Medicus Health Group and previously as Medical Director at Chen Medical. Dr. Yanez provides ongoing preventive care, chronic disease management, and coordination of specialty services, with a focus on building long-term relationships with his patients and improving their quality of life through continuity of care.
